On February 4, the 24th Winter Olympic Games officially kicked off in Beijing.

Green Olympics: Aulton is all set to swap!

In June 2019, the Beijing Organising Committee for the Winter Olympic  Games officially released the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Low Carbon Management Work Program, which proposed to vigorously develop green low-carbon travel modes to achieve the basic guarantee of clean energy vehicles for transportation services within the competition area.

As the industry's leading energy service provider of shared battery swapping, Aulton has now realized the twin-city linkage and interconnection of the battery swapping network in Beijing and Zhangjiakou, which has actively reflected the concept of “green travel for green Winter Olympics”.

In Chongli district, where the landmark venue of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the National Ski Jumping Centre, “Snow Ruyi” is located, the majority of the new energy cruising taxis are battery swapping modes, with an average of more than 200 kilometers of battery swapping in a single day, providing a stable and convenient energy replenishment service for high frequency travel.

The battery swapping service network in Chongli is built around the major transportation hubs, which is 13 km from the core Winter Olympic Games area and 7 km from the city, and is an important new energy replenishment transfer station for the competition area and urban transportation.

In Beijing competition area, the layout of Aulton's battery swapping service network has covered Beijing's fifth ring road area, large residential area, around Tongzhou sub-center, around the airport, etc, which can achieve a service radius of 3-5 km throughout Beijing, and may guarantee a 24-hour uninterrupted battery swapping service for more than 20,000 battery swapping taxis.

During the Winter Olympic Games, Aulton will spare no effort to ensure the normal operation of new energy taxis and provide good traffic protection on the peripheral traffic of the venues. This is the second time for Aulton to serve the Beijing Olympic Games.
